Samantha & Peter (and their new son Jack!) celebrated their wedding day at Artscape Gibraltar Point on the Toronto Island. This is one of favourite venues in Toronto; it has a cool rustic summer camp vibe packed with contemporary art from it's residents, sprawling outdoor space and easy beach access. Plus it's on the island and accessible only by boat which never loses it's charm no matter how many times you make the trip.
Their wedding had all the things you could want in a laid back outdoor summer wedding...games, string lights, a camp fire, and a beach sunset. Their ceremony had some traditional jewish elements which I find to be the most endearing of all ceremony traditions. Having your loves ones up to recite good wishes, prayers, poems and words of advice to take with you into your new marriage is incredibly powerful and never ceases to provoke some teary eyes. This ceremony had an extra special element which entailed their officiant inviting all of the guests up to link themselves together around them and give all the love and good vibes a new couple could ever wish to have bestowed upon them.
Sam & Peter and their love Jack are pretty special humans indeed, and this day absolutely reflected their incredible spirits. A great day, thoroughly enjoyed by all and no doubt still reminisced about fondly by all in attendance....including me!
